Sydney Sing With Me
Sydney Sing With Me by Salvatera feat. Chris McKay is a Friday-night singalong and Sydney anthem from the album Love VS The Machines. The song captures the moment the working week ends, the city lights come on and one cheap microphone turns a room full of ordinary people into one loud, imperfect band.
Some songs are for listening alone. This one is built for a crowd: a pub function room, a karaoke booth, a backyard party or a group of friends who have earned a night out. You do not need a great voice to join in. You only need to be in the room when the chorus comes round.
Quick Answer: What Is Sydney Sing With Me?
Sydney Sing With Me is an upbeat Sydney singalong by Salvatera featuring Chris McKay, released in September 2026 on the album Love VS The Machines. It celebrates the end of the working week and the joy of singing together, imperfectly and out loud. It suits karaoke nights, parties and any playlist built for a Sydney crowd.

Why I Wrote Sydney Sing With Me
I wrote Sydney Sing With Me because the best nights in this city rarely start with a perfect performance. They start when someone picks up the microphone, gets the first line slightly wrong, and the whole room decides to help. That shared, unpolished moment is what the song is about.
A Song About Ordinary People
The song is not about stars or stages. It is about office workers, tradies, students and friends who spend the week being careful and spend Friday night being loud. The chorus is written to be easy to remember after one listen, so a room can join in by the second time it comes round.
Why Chris McKay Is On It
A singalong works best when it sounds like more than one person. Chris McKay brings a second voice to the track, which turns the song from a solo performance into a conversation, and then into a crowd. Chris also features on It’s Not Complicated, another song from the same album.
Why It Belongs On Love VS The Machines
Love VS The Machines asks what stays human as technology fills more of daily life. Sydney Sing With Me answers with something no machine can replace: a room full of people singing together, face to face, for no reason except that it feels good.
Who Is Sydney Sing With Me For?
Sydney Sing With Me is for anyone who wants a song that brings a group together. It works best live, loud and shared.
Karaoke Nights and Pub Functions
The repeating chorus and steady tempo make it easy for beginners to sing, which is why the karaoke version exists.
Sydneysiders and Visitors
Locals will hear their own Friday nights in it. Visitors will hear what the city feels like after dark.
Parties, Work Events and Playlists
The song fits end-of-year parties, birthdays, team nights and any playlist built to get people singing.
Who It Is Not For
If you want a quiet, reflective song, start with Still Becoming or Here To Stay instead.
